A few days ago, former Prime Minister Stephen Harper got involved in the latest Conservative Party leadership race. In fact, he gave his full endorsement to one candidate, Pierre Poilievre.

That was excellent news for Pierre.  But endorsements by former leaders can have repercussions beyond the present race. Such endorsements can be a double-edged sword both for the candidate and the party. My thoughts.

The Conservatives have been without a leader since February. The present leadership race just drags on and on. My thoughts. Agree or disagree.

Moving forward from the Patrick Brown issue, a key question will be whether his supporters stay in the party and move to another leadership candidate or for that matter will other leadership candidates seek them out.

Consumers continue to get ripped off by large corporations such as Rogers and Supply Management Boards- yet all parties are afraid to act against them. They all promise a lot in an election but in the end nothing gets done.
